hiya friends! how’ve you been? i hope well :) this past monday boyfriend, his band, and i went to austin because they had a gig. i really like that city. it’s so youthful, has delightful architecture, and the people i’ve talked to have been so nice. oh, and its motto is “keep austin weird” which is..interesting, haha.
here are some photos from our trip, accompanied with a few transitions like those in Frasier. well maybe not as clever, but i tried! (please tell me you understand that reference?! brownie points if you do!)

WHEN IN AN IRISH PUB…ORDER WATER AND WINGS?

the boys love a good beer, but this time we didn’t order any; just three orders of wings and two potato soups. THEY WERE SO GOOD! we couldn’t finish all of them though. too many.
DIRTY DOG BAR

it’s the second time the boys play here. as always, it was a good show.
UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS

I still ask myself why I didn’t apply for this university.. it looks challenging, yet amazing.
COME HUNGRY AND UNHINGE YOUR JAW

after the show we somehow got hungry again and boys decided to give this restaurant, Big Bite, a try. they serve these big sandwiches with multiple things in them. david and i shared one that had chicken strips, french fries, and mozzarella sticks, all drenched in buffalo sauce and ranch. yes, that sounds, and is, extremely fatty, but that combination was tasty! total college food.

one of the many, many murals in this city.
san marcos

we slept over at our friend’s apartment in a little town – that by the way is so cute! – about 30 minutes from the capital. (oh, and she owns a chinchilla named mango! how cool is that?) we ventured downtown, got smoothie king, shopped in a store full of cool knickknacks, and ate tacos. (gosh, we sure do eat a lot..)
does my writing transpire the excitement i felt? pardon my thoughts being out of order and my constant use of exclamation marks and sophomoric adjectives. these were two fun days!
what have you been up to friends? :) boyfriend and i are up to our neck in finals. it’s not fun. if you, too, are in finals, we understand your pain and are here cheering for ya! be safe, be well, have a little fun! and have a very good day.
